Let’s take a closer look at each person in the office.
Dana Stahl
Dana Stahl is a founding member of Quest Educational Services. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a Master’s in education from the College of William and Mary. Dana’s 25 years of experience in education includes working in both public and private schools in Massachusetts, as well as The Harvey School in Katonah, NY, and The Hackley School in Tarrytown, NY. As an integral part of the Harvey School’s Admissions Office, she used Mel Levine’s method of emphasizing a student’s strengths and weaknesses when evaluating applications.
Ron Romanowicz
Ron Romanowicz is a founding member of Quest Educational Services. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania Military College and a Master’s of Arts from Southern Connecticut State University. He began his career as an educator in the Trumbull Public Schools in Connecticut, followed by several years at the Indian Mountain School, also in Connecticut, and at the Oldfields School in Maryland. In 1998, he joined The Harvey School, and is credited with providing the direction of the Admissions Office, in addition to setting its goals each year.
Working in the independent school environment has given Ron a host of responsibilities and opportunities. Over the years, he has learned the importance of working with parents, and attending to the many needs of students to help them become successful.
Chris Romanowicz
Chris Romanowicz has been working with students in a variety of capacities for more than 20 years. For 10 years, she was an important part of the Admissions Office at The Harvey School, taking on a multi-faceted role that included managing the flow of the office and interviewing students. Prospective families are warmly welcomed by Chris, as she meets with each of them to determine their interests, see how they “match” with various schools, and ultimately discovers their potential for success.
