Services for College
There are over 3,500 colleges in the United States. Some schools have programs for gifted students, average students, and students with learning differences. As we develop a partnership with families, we help you see the best in each school and determine which one is a good match for you and your student.
Our task is to thoughtfully and professionally help you through the process of selecting the best college and gaining admission to that school. We begin the process with a consultation with both the student and parent(s). This will lead to a comprehensive evaluation of academic reports, extracurricular records, and recommendations based on individual strengths and weaknesses.
The next steps include -
Pre-admissions process and guidance
- selecting courses during high school that will reflect a rigorous academic program
- scheduling standardized tests
- determining the best method of test preparation based on the student’s needs - tutoring or classes
- choosing extracurricular and summer activities that bring personal growth and emphasize your uniqueness
Assistance with the selection and admissions process
- preparing a suggested list of schools that includes both reach and safety schools based on what is important to you
- guiding you through the early decision, early action and regular admission processes
- preparing a clear and concise resume accenting the student’s strengths and accomplishments
- offering suggestions for the best possible letters of recommendation
- help with all applications and essays, including topic development and editing
